Dr. Christina M. Rost, P.I.
Dr. Rost is an assistant professor of physics at James Madison University. She received her Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from North Carolina State University, following earning both BS and MS degrees in physics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Virginia. Her current research interests include the funcalmental structure-property relationships of novel, high entropy ceramics.
John Barber, Physics
John is a junior from Barboursville, VA. He is majoring in physics with a minor in material science. He is excited to be a part of the research group to get experience with applied physics.
Jerry Bejger, Physics
Jerry is a senior physics major from Virginia. He is interested in synthesis and characterization of materials.
Tyler Thompson, Physics
Tommy Bertram, Physics
Tommy is a sophomore from Fredericksburg, VA. He enjoys the outdoors and adventure sports. Tommy is studying physics and mathematics. He is interested in the applications of these fields and in eventually pursuing a PhD in physics.
Melvin Chicas-Espinoza, Physics
Melvin is a junior physics major from Harrisonburg, Virginia. Upon graduation, he intends to pursue a master's degree in engineering. His academic interests include expanding his understanding of mechanics and applied physics.
